How Cash 4 Works
Just like Cash 3, drawings will take place every night at approximately 9:50pm. To take part, you just have to select four numbers from 0 to 9 and choose your play type.
It’s up to you whether you want to try and match the four winning numbers in the exact order that they are drawn, or in any order. You can also decide whether to spend $0.50 or $1 per play.
There are 13 different play types altogether, including various ‘Combo’ options if you want to boost your chances of winning the nightly jackpot.
All the prizes are fixed, based on how you play and whether you are paying $0.50 or $1. Go to the Cash 4 page for more information, including the prize table.
A Growing Portfolio
Tickets will be available at Mississippi Lottery Corporation (MLC) retailers throughout the state. Jeff Hewitt, president of the MLC, is looking forward the game going on sale.
He said: “Cash 4 operates very similarly to our draw-style game Cash 3. If you know how to play Cash 3, you know how to play Cash 4. Our players love new games, and this is one players familiar with surrounding lotteries have been anticipating. We are happy to add it to our portfolio and hope our players enjoy it.
“There are more ways to play and more ways to win. Like Cash 3, regardless of how many people play or how many people win, the set prize amounts are the same.”
The MLC has gradually been introducing more and more games since the state lottery was launched in November 2019.
Scratch offs went on sale from the start, before multi-state draw games Powerball and Mega Millions were introduced in January 2020. Cash 3 became the first Mississippi-only draw game when it began in September 2020, and Match 5 was launched in April this year.
The arrival of Cash 4 gives lottery fans in Mississippi another opportunity to win great prizes. You’ll be able to see the winning Cash 4 numbers as soon as they are available every night to find out if you’re due a prize.
