Coronavirus Updates
After a temporary closure due to COVID-19, the Mississippi Lottery's claim center reopened for prize claims on June 8th. Additional safety precautions have been established, however, to ensure the safety of the public and lottery officials. The guidelines at present are:
- Claim centers are open from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday, but the center will stop taking claimant information from 4.30pm
- You must wear a face covering and have your temperature checked to enter the building
- Only three players are allowed in the lobby at any one time - if there are already three people inside you must wait outside
- Family and friends are not allowed to accompany you when you claim unless you require special assistance
- To speed things up, claimants are asked to complete a prize claim form ahead of time
Claiming via Mail
Players with winning tickets can claim their prize via mail and have the winnings paid directly to them without having an face to face contact. If you would like to claim a lottery prize by mail then follow the steps below:
- Download the MLC winner claim form
- Make a copy of a valid form of Identification which can verify your name, signature, photo, age and social security number. You can send copies of more than one document if you wish
- Sign the back of your original ticket and make a photocopy of the ticket
- Mail the Winner claim form, a copy of your identification document(s) and the original signed ticket (not the copy- retain this for your own records) to the address below

For winnings of $100,000 or more then players will need to make an appointment at the lottery headquarters in Flowood in order to claim their prize. Appointments can be made between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday by calling 601-500-0482.
